About the Role

As Drafting Manager, you will have a collaborative personality to work with Estimating, Building Approvals and Client Support teams to support the overall business outcomes.

This role will have you managing a high-performing team, implementing best practices and driving process improvements for greater efficiency.

If you are proactive, approachable, results driven and eager to contribute to an award-winning team, this role is for you.

NOTE: If you are a qualified Draftsperson looking to secure your long-term future, with at least two years of experience in the high-volume residential building industry, we encourage you to express your interest in upcoming roles.

About You

  • Passionate about the building and construction industry
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar high-volume project home-building environment
  • Queensland and New South Wales experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of current facades, finishes and fixtures, new products and on trend designs
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Certificate IV in Building Design Drafting or a similar discipline (essential)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of drafting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the drafting team and ensure timely completion of all work
  • Display leadership skills, drive performance in quality, compliance and workflow efficiency
  • Be a contributor to the company's success, market presence and award-winning home designs
  • Play a key role in achieving company targets while enjoying a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Ensure all plans comply with Building Standards and company's building policy
