Auto Electrician

This role will have variety, challenges, and further development opportunities and work across a diverse range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, trucks, farm machinery etc.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. This role is hands-on and offers exposure to a wide range of jobs, ensuring no two days are the same.

Key Tasks

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Install, service, and maintain auto electrical systems including lighting, control panels, sensors, and communication systems.
• Perform fault finding on alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, battery systems, and more.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
• Maintain accurate records and job documentation.

Skills and Experience (essential)

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
• Current manual driver's licence
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a variety of electrical systems
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
