Gardener/Handyperson

Bethanie Home Care provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support.

As a Gardener / Handyperson, you will be providing our clients with gardening services within their homes the South Metro Area. We cover areas working from South Perth, Peel, Piara Waters and all the suburbs in between. This role works across all these locations.

This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service within aged care and giving something back to the community.

This role is being offered on a casual basis, with shifts covering Monday - Friday. 8am - 4pm.

The hourly rate is $30.33ph and will attract casual loading and superannuation in addition to this rate.

You will have commuting use of a Bethanie work vehicle and a trailer with tools which will be collected and returned to the office at Port Kennedy, before and after each shift.

About You:

• Gardening and Lawn mowing experience
• Basic Handyman skills
• Current drivers licence, and ability to drive with a trailer
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate to clients and staff
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Ability to identify work place safety, and operate in a safe manner
• Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
• Willingness to obtain vaccinations (minimum of 1 COVID 19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccination)
