Childcare Trainee – To obtain Certificate III - Liverpool NSW

Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a family owned and operated service with almost 10 years' experience in the industry. We are passionate about delivering high quality education guided by the Early Years Framework & National Quality Standards catering for children aged 6 months to 6 years to ensure that individual development is being catered for, encouraged & enhanced.

At Smart Cookies we base our indoor & outdoor curriculum around children's interest and family input with the theory that the environment is a third teacher. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn in a happy, safe, stimulating & inclusive environment that supports children's agency & enhances their learning.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic young person to join our existing team in our State of the Art Liverpool location.

About the Role:

  • Study to obtain Certificate 3 in Early Childhood
  • Educate, care for, and supervise children.
  • Assist with the delivery of educational programs for all age groups.
  • Set up and put away activities for children, materials and supplies.
  • Cleaning
  • Food preparation

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.
  • Bright, friendly and energetic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computers.
  • Dedicated, hard-working trustworthy and reliable.
  • Dedicated to developing children.

The role is ideal for school leavers from 18 years of age. You'll need to be a minimum age of 18 years; have effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as a cooperative team member; have a commitment to a customer focused service.
