Simon McCurdy Landscapes Maintenance Division (est specialises in high-end residential garden maintenance across the Eastern, Bayside, and Mornington Peninsula suburbs. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, a hands-on approach, and a supportive, professional team culture.

We are excited to offer the unique opportunity to join our thriving Garden Maintenance Division in the role as Assistant Garden Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Garden Maintenance Manager in daily operations and strategic planning
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role preferred
  • Oversee equipment and machinery maintenance to prevent downtime
  • Assist with scheduling, quoting, and client communication
  • Promote and enforce OH&S standards and safe work practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the maintenance division
  • Support staff training and development to enhance skill sets and team performance
  • Assist with ordering materials and managing green waste disposal at the SML yard.

Note: This is a hands-on tools role

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience and qualifications in garden maintenance
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and staff
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of OHS procedures and ability to ensure compliance
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Genuine passion for landscape presentation and client satisfaction
