We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our Senior School team on a temporary part-time basis for the 2026 school year. This position will initially have an 0.8 FTE teaching load during Term 1 2026, and will then transition to a 0.4 FTE load for Terms 2, 3, and 4.
The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students through high-quality teaching and demonstrate a strong commitment to both their students and the wider school community. They will embrace collaboration, actively sharing ideas and listening to others, and will take accountability for their actions, learning from experience and understanding their impact on those around them.
Employment Overview

• Concluding end of Term 4 2026
• 0.8 FTE load in Term 1
• 0.4 FTE load in Terms 2-4
• Based at Wentworth Falls
• Salary in accordance with the Independent Schools Teachers CMEA 2025
Key Responsibilities
• Teach allocated Mathematics classes and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Plan, prepare, and implement programs that cater to a range of student abilities and learning needs
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the Mathematics Department and participate in curriculum development
• Contribute to school activities, including pastoral care, events, and meetings, as required
• Maintain professional standards and uphold the School's policies and values
Requirements
• NESA accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Full Australian work rights
