Prep Teacher Aide

The Teacher Aide will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, provide support to individual and small groups of students, and help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities include preparing classroom materials, supervising students during school activities, and collaborating with staff to promote student wellbeing and achievement.

The successful applicant will be a team-oriented, reliable, and ethical individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for education. Experience in a school environment and/or a Certificate IV in Education Support is desirable but not essential.

Applicants must be eligible for a Blue Card and demonstrate a personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the College's Statement of Faith.

This is a permanent position, with the successful applicant required to work 6.5 hours per day, 5 days per week during school terms, including student free days. The salary for the position will be within the Level 3 pay scale for School Officers as outlined in the College's Enterprise Agreement and will be negotiated with the successful applicant as part of the interview process.
