Summary:

We are seeking 2 reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of Vietnamese food, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.

Location: The vibrant Melbourne Quarter precinct in Docklands.

Hours of work are between 7 AM – 3 PM Monday to Friday.

Commencement date: End of June to mid-July 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Assist in the receiving and storage of food supplies
  • Follow all health and safety standards and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

Qualifications & Abilities:

  • 2 years experience in a kitchen environment, preferably with Vietnamese cuisine;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely;
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Good communication skills.
