Heritage Lawn Maintenance is a family run business operating out of Lake Macquarie.

An opportunity has become available to join our Teamas an Apprentice Gardener.

  • Up to 5 days per week Monday to Friday
  • No Weekend work

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Gardener to join our team and complete a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from a skilled and supportive crew.

About the role:

As an Apprentice Gardener, you'll work across a wide variety of residential and commercial properties. You will learn and develop practical skills in:

  • Lawn care and mowing (push, ride-on & zero-turn)
  • Whipper snipping
  • Hedge trimming and pruning
  • Planting, mulching, and garden bed maintenance
  • Weed and pest control
  • Turf laying and repair
  • Safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine interest in gardening and horticulture
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
  • Current driver's licence (or working towards it) preferred
  • Hard working
  • Have the ability to listen and following direction
  • Good communication skills
  • Well presented
