Truck Driver

We're seeking a fit and motivated individual for a seasonal casual truck driving role for, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate. Hours range from 25 to 40 per week, with flexible overtime available. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. As we operate a transfer station, this role also involves some onsite work at our depot. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Transporting waste/scrap metal including delivery & pick up of various size bins we hire throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula.
• Customer service and cash handling.
• Accepting & sorting the various metals received for recycling at our Transfer Station.

We're a small team of five, so strong communication and teamwork are essential, but you'll also need to work independently and show initiative. A HR Licence with at least six months of truck driving experience is required. While a High Risk (Forklift) licence with experience is preferred, it's not essential, and having skid steer experience would be a bonus.

The position is for immediate start.

Pay rates are outlined in the Waste Management Award.
