We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in VET administration, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success.

The successful candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualification in education administration, business management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Comprehensive knowledge of VET compliance requirements, policies, and processes
• Demonstrated experience in administration within the VET sector, preferably at registrar or senior administrative level.
• Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2025, AVETMISS reporting, AQF, and other compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of Skills First and/or VET Student Loans obligations.
• Experience using and managing student and learning management systems.
• High-level organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong report writing skills with advanced capability in data collection, analysis and management.
• Knowledge of efficient administrative practices and demonstrated capability in developing and refining processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

Established over 60 years ago, The Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit organisation solely focused on advancing better mental health through education, research, and treatment in psychology, counselling and psychotherapy.

Cairnmillar is one of Australia's largest trainers of postgraduate psychologists and counsellors. We also provide clinical services across four sites (North Melbourne, Hawthorn East, Dandenong, and the CBD) and via telehealth.
