About the role

We are seeking an Administration All-Rounder to join our thriving team at James & Co Mowing Pty Ltd in Moffat Beach, Queensland. This part-time role will see you supporting our busy office with a variety of administrative tasks, providing invaluable assistance to keep our operations running smoothly.

This position requires 20-25 hours per week. (inside school hours)

The role requires availability Monday through Friday.

Starting on a casual probation period, then moving onto a Part-time role. Training and onboarding to be done in person.

What you'll be doing

  • Answer customer calls and emails, and direct enquiries to the right person where needed
  • Providing administrative support to the management team as needed
  • Confirm bookings and update clients on delays, weather changes, or reschedules.

  • Use Xero for reconciliation, invoicing, and payment follow-ups

  • Supporting the team with any other ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within a small to medium-sized business
  • A minimum of 6-12 months administrative experience is required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Experience with bookkeeping, Xero, trade CRM's or within a trade business is an advantage but not essential. We're happy to train the right person.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and multitask effectively
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work
