About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety in Moree, NSW. As a full-time or Part time or Job Share Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the day-to-day operations of our busy retail store. The opportunity is there to progress to Store Manager

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Demonstrating and promoting our range of high-quality workwear and safety products

  • Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment

  • Restocking and replenishing shelves as needed

  • Providing feedback and suggestions to improve customer experience

  • Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales and customer service targets

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a neat and organised work environment
