Due to our growing project, we are currently seeking two experienced Maintenance Superintendents to lead our Dozer & Excavator Maintenance team on the South Walker Creek Mining Project. This opportunity is just 1.5 hours from Mackay on an attractive 8/6 roster

These two brand new positions will report to our Maintenance Manager, and you will provide leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance activities. This is a key leadership role where your ability to drive team performance, optimise equipment availability, and uphold safety standards will directly impact project success.

With a strong partnership in place with our client Stanmore, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing project that has recently secured a five-year contract extension.

Key Role Tasks:

• Lead and supervise the dozer and excavator maintenance crews to deliver safe and effective work outcomes.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance activities to optimise fleet performance and availability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, client, and company standards and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processes and team capability.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and development opportunities to build high-performing teams.

Key Capability Requirements:

• Trade qualification or degree in maintenance (essential).
• Previous experience in a Superintendent or senior maintenance leadership role within mining.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP with proven ability to manage work orders, reporting, and maintenance planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices and a collaborative team environment.
