We are partnering with a leading Fintech firm in Sydney to recruit an experienced and driven Quantitative Trader. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting edge trading team where innovation, speed, and creativity are at the heart of everything we do.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and execute trading strategies while continuously improving performance and profitability.
  • Convert ideas into robust quantitative models that drive decision-making.
  • Develop and refine trading signals to influence automated trading systems.
  • Gain a deep understanding of derivatives theory, financial markets, and risk management.
  • Contribute new ideas on trading opportunities, product innovation, risk controls, and system enhancements.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Options Trading, Quantitative Trading, or a closely related field.
  • BS/MS/PhD in a technical or quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
  • Strong understanding of advanced mathematics (Calculus, Probability, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Optimization).
  • Practical experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, numerical linear algebra, or optimization techniques.
  • Intermediate programming skills in Python (C++ is highly desirable).
  • A competitive mindset, innovative thinking, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment.
