Equine Therapist

Equine Therapist – Part Time (3 Days a Week) 8am till 5pm/6pm

Location: Harmony Pastures, Byford, Perth WA

Harmony Pastures is a growing equine assisted therapy centre dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and healing spaces through the wisdom of horses. We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Occupational Therapist or physiotherapist who specializes in Equine Therapy to join our team for three days per week (Wednesday to Friday)

About the Role:

As an Equine Therapist, you'll facilitate horse-assisted sessions that support a diverse range of participants, including NDIS clients, individuals with additional needs, and those seeking personal growth and wellbeing. You'll work closely with both people and horses, holding space where connection, trust, and healing can unfold.

Key Responsibilities:

· Facilitate individual and group equine therapy and horse-riding sessions.

· Support clients with diverse needs, ensuring sessions are safe, empowering, and goal-focused.

· Collaborate with the team to develop tailored session plans.

· Monitor horses' welfare.

· Keep accurate session notes and contribute to reporting requirements

About You:

· Qualified in physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, or related field

· Certified or experienced in equine-assisted therapy

· Confident handling and working with horses

· Compassionate, inclusive, and able to adapt to client needs

· Organised and professional

· Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team

Pay: $80,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
