About the role

As an Optical Dispenser for National Pharmacies you'll work alongside experienced Optometrists and Optical team members to assist customers choosing frames, assuring accuracy with lens fittings and adjustments. You will play a key role in providing the very best personalised Optical solutions and service that make our customers feel confident and supported.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and advice to a diverse range of customers with a broad variety of optical needs
• Provide frame fittings and adjustments
• Interpret Optical prescriptions and deliver expert product advice
• Assist with stock orders, stock control
• Merchandising eyewear products in line with company guidelines
• Multitask and service multiple customers when busy
• Support smooth clinic operations, ensuring a positive customer experience every time.

About you

• The ideal candidate could be an Optometry student, experienced Optical Dispenser or just someone who has a passion for customer service with a love for styling and Optical products.
• You must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and must be able to take direction.

Roster

Wk 1: Thursday 4-7pm (Marion), Saturday 9-5pm (Marion) = 10.5 hours

Wk 2: Thursday 4-7pm (Marion), Saturday 9-2pm (Blackwood) = 8 hours
