  • Pay Rate: Up to $950 per day + Super
  • Location: Hybrid – Eveleigh (Tue/Thu), Parramatta (Fri), WFH (Mon/Wed)
  • Assignment Duration:Anticipated 6 months with potential to extend
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

We're seeking three Senior Procurement Officers to join a major NSW Government organisation on a 6-month contract, supporting high-value asset management and infrastructure projects.

This is a fast-paced environment where you'll manage complex end-to-end procurement activities, work closely with project teams, and deliver value-for-money outcomes in line with government compliance requirements.

About the role

You'll be part of a high-performing procurement team delivering a large pipeline of infrastructure projects, often ranging from $20M to $100M in value. These are complex, high-stakes tenders requiring attention to detail, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for asset management and infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost-effective outcomes
  • Provide expert advice on procurement processes, probity, and compliance
  • Prepare and negotiate supplier agreements in line with policy and governance requirements
  • Identify and manage procurement risks to support business objectives
  • Partner with project teams to meet operational needs and drive successful delivery

What we're looking for

  • GC21 contract experience – essential
  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement, ideally in infrastructure or asset management
  • Strong knowledge of probity, compliance, and risk management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
