Automotive Electrician

AutoSparky is seeking a permanent full time Auto Electrician. We are currently experiencing growth and are seeking qualified and experienced Auto Electrician located in Alice Springs. This is a rewarding role that will see you ensuring all work carried out is compliant with manufacturers standards, while operating in a safe work environment.

As an Automotive Electrician your work will vary in the installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical wiring and computer based equipment in motor vehicles, caravans, trailers, earth-moving equipment, and agricultural equipment.

* Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair computer-controlled engine management systems

* Preventative maintenance and defect repairs

* Electrical diagnostics

* Electrical installations and testing

* Work independently where required but within a team environment

* Adhere to strict Occupational Health and Safety practices

Essential Requirements:

* at least Australian Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.

* At least three years of relevant experience

* Solid auto electrical knowledge within the heavy vehicle industry * Willing to be a team player, have flexible approach to work commitments * Understanding of quality controls, significant diagnostic experience * Clear communication skills both written & verbal * Display initiative, set priorities and manage workload * Compliant with aspects of workplace, health & safety
