Job Responsibilities

Join the team at Tropicana as the FMS Superintendent, leasding the mine control teams interaction with mine site operations to support the decision-making process of the Caterpillar MineStar System and achieve cost reduction initiatives in line with site KPI's.

About the role

  • 4:3 FIFO roster with flights from Perth or Kalgoorlie
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the mine control team to ensure that the business and mine plan objectives are consistently achieved in line with the HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate, timely and clear reporting and communication on project performance.
  • Be the driver for improvements to the MineStar system.
  • Implement processes and procedures for all activities related to MineStar.
  • Assist in solving daily and weekly technical and resource logistical problems.

About you

  • Minimum of 10 years mining experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years fleet management system experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the MineStar System.
  • Demonstrated reporting capabilities.
  • Experience in complying with Statutory Mining and HSEQ requirements.
  • Manual driver's licence.
