About the Role As an English Teacher, you'll join a collaborative and supportive teaching team, delivering lessons that not only develop literacy and language skills but also inspire creativity, confidence, and a love of learning.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support students in developing essential communication skills for both academic and everyday life.
  • Contribute to wellbeing and vocational programs that prepare students with practical skills for the future.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design innovative lessons that build resilience and foster curiosity.
  • Provide constructive feedback to guide student growth and achievement.
  • Support students with diverse needs, including learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and social-emotional barriers.

What We're Looking For To be successful, you'll need:

  • A relevant teaching qualification with current QCT registration (or eligibility).
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students with varied learning styles.
  • A compassionate and flexible approach to teaching, with a focus on individualised support.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full Australian working rights - No sponsorship available
