About the position and duties - some of the tasks you will be required to perform include:

  • Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or current hairstyles, using clippers, combs, hand-held blow dryers, and scissors.

  • Apply lather and shave beards or neck and temple hair contours, using razors.

  • Able to perform shaving with a cut- throat razor.

  • Perform modern and traditional haircuts.

  • Promote products, services, or programs.

  • Arrange appointments and record details in the database.

  • Suggest treatments to alleviate hair problems.

  • Stay informed of the latest styles and hair care techniques.

  • Maintain professional knowledge.

We are looking for a hairdresser with the following qualities:

  • Working right in Australia.

  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Australian salon.

  • Strong hands-on experience, knowledge of the latest hair trends and techniques, and the ability to deliver personalized services to satisfy clients' unique needs.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, patience to truly understand customers' requirements.

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Strong team collaboration abilities.

  • Portfolio of previous works.

  • Vocational-level language skills in English. Mandarin/Cantonese as a second language is preferred but not essential.
