About the role

Lighthouse Christian College - Keysborough is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Maths/Science Teacher for a contract position in Keysborough, VIC 3173. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team, making a meaningful impact on the education and development of secondary students.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in education (Secondary) with Mathematics and/or Science method, or relevant Science/Mathematics degree with teaching qualification
  2. Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  3. Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum for Mathematics and Science subjects
  4. Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience teaching secondary Mathematics and Science subjects (or new graduates with strong practicum experience)
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and the school community
  6. Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage a diverse workload
  7. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student-centred learning
  8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
