Western Meat Processors (WMP) is a proudly West Australian owned and operated business with a foundation built upon traditional values such as customer and supplier loyalty and quality product. Our Cowaramup Abattoir has grown significantly since inception, supplying both the domestic and international markets.

We are currently seeking for full time Meat Workerfor an immediatestartat our processing facility in Cowaramup.

You will be responsible for performing duties which include but are not limited to:

• Stack cartons onto pallets for efficient storage and transport.
• Pack meat and bones into bags and boxes, ensuring proper handling and hygiene.
• Perform vacuum sealing of products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Sort bones according to specifications and quality standards. Secure boxes with strapping to ensure safe transport.
• Maneuver and push carcasses as required for processing and organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in the meat industry is preferred but not essential.
• Willing to undergo a Pre-employment medical.
• Physically fit with an ability to complete repetitive motion tasks with hands and wrists.
• Must be reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong health, safety and food hygiene focus and the ability to ensure company guidelines are adhered to.
