Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) specialises in providing innovative educational and sport programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills. This is achieved through a passion for creating an inclusive community, focused on developing a student athlete through sport and academia.

The Role:

The College Administration Manager will manage the administrative functions of the College ensuring the delivery of friendly, professional and effective customer service to the College community and the smooth and efficient operation of the day-to-day activities of the College. This role will also provide high-level administrative/secretarial support to the two Deputy Principals.

Ideally, the successful candidate will commence the position during this Term.

Main duties/responsibilities:

College Administration Manager

  • Lead the administration team in fostering a positive, productive and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure a full understanding of

  • the student management system - The Alpha School System (TASS)

  • each Administration officer's role and responsibilities
  • Ensure administrative functions align with government, AIS and NESA regulations as well as the college's internal policies and procedures
  • Act as liaison and point of reference between the college administration and the other areas of the College.
  • Other tasks that may be required to complete these primary responsibilities including performing other duties at the discretion of the Principal/Deputy Principal.

Support to the Deputy Principals (DPs)

  • Act as a first point of contact, manage phone calls, emails and correspondence, redirecting as appropriate and ensuring timely responses.
  • Coordinate and manage the DP's diaries, daily routines, calendars, travel, accommodation and other bookings and all facets of their office organisation.
  • Assist with the coordination and organisation of key major college events and functions.

Qualifications and experience:

  • The ideal applicant will have:

  • Proven experience as an Administration Manager or similar role.

  • Experience working within a school environment (highly desirable).
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Applications/systems used include - TASS (The Alpha School System), Mac, Google suite of products.
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Working with Children Check Clearance.
  • National Police Check Clearance.
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable).
