A leading manufacturing firm based in Geelong is seeking a motivated Graduate Accountant to join its finance team in a full-time role.

This opportunity is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and a desire to grow professionally within a business that values continuous improvement and community.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Graduate Accountant, you'll support the finance function across a range of areas including:

  • Assisting with monthly and year-end reporting processes
  • Preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger reconciliations
  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Participating in stocktakes, costing, and inventory reconciliations
  • Helping ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
  • Engaging in system improvements and ad hoc projects

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (completed or near completion)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
  • Ability to manage time and work both independently and in a team
  • Previous experience or Internship or part-time experience in a finance or business environment is desirable.
