About the role
Roar Psychology is seeking a part-time Psychologist to join our growing team in Mitcham, Victoria. As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services and support to our diverse client base. We primarily work with children and adolescents - however we are expanding our assessment availability to adults. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive neuroaffirming psychological assessments for children and adults (including Autism, ADHD, SLD and giftedness)
- Developing individualised treatment plans for children, adolescents and families
- Providing evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and other therapeutic modalities
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to client care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and adhering to all relevant professional and ethical standards
What we're looking for
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Early career and experienced psychologists welcome - salary will reflect your experience, skills, and years of professional practice
- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
