Certified Technician

Location: Mercedes-Benz Brighton

As a Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles to the highest standards. Working within a state-of-the-art workshop, you'll carry out diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work with precision and care, ensuring vehicles are fixed right the first time. You'll also maintain accurate service documentation and uphold our commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles in line with brand procedures and dealership standards.
• Deliver efficient, high-quality work focusing on Fixed First Visit outcomes.
• Maintain and exceed monthly productivity and efficiency targets.
• Ensure professional communication and presentation aligned with the Mercedes-Benz brand.
• Adhere to all OH&S policies and ensure a clean, safe, organised workspace.
• Stay current with Mercedes-Benz technical literature, software, and training.
• Support the training and mentoring of apprentices.
• Accurately record all service and repair information for customer translation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Completion of a recognised automotive apprenticeship (mechanical or electrical trade).
• Experience servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles, or with another prestige/commercial dealership.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to resolve service issues with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret complex service literature and software.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure.
