Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator with GPS experience to join our team working across the Newcastle and Hunter Region.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently operate excavators on civil sites, while also supporting other key areas of our operations.

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating excavators – including final trim and use of all attachments
• Proven GPS machine control experience on excavators (minimum 12 months)
• Truck licence (HR or MR) highly desirable
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance checks and report any issues to ensure machinery operates at peak performance
• Work safely around live services and overhead powerlines
• Work unsupervised and complete tasks in a timely and safe manner

• Minimum 3 years of excavator operating experience
• Excavator competency ticket (essential)
• HR or MR Truck Licence (advantage)
• White Card and Driver's Licence (essential)
• Overhead powerlines competency (advantage)
• Posi Track experience (advantage)
• A strong work ethic, physical fitness, and safety-first mindset
• Must be reliable, competent, and safety-focused
• Experience in civil construction projects (earthworks, drainage, or roadworks)
