Calling All Electricians Looking for Work Over the Christmas Break

Genus is seeking qualified and experienced FIFO Electricians to join our team on the Western Ridge Crusher Project (BHP Iron Ore) in the Pilbara, WA.

Short-term Christmas coverage and long-term roles available. Successful candidates must be ready for an immediate start and able to mobilise to site within the next two weeks.

Join a high-performing electrical team delivering installation, commissioning and maintenance across key mining infrastructure including primary crushers, conveyors and substations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission and maintain electrical systems on crusher and overland conveyor equipment
  • Perform electrical work on SUB4105 (Substation & Transformer Yard) and TS4105 (Transfer Station)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, fault-finding and compliance inspections
  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers and other trades to safely achieve project milestones

What you Need:

  • WA Electrical Licence + relevant Trade Qualification
  • Must have current BHP Iron Ore WA Site Induction
  • Previous experience in mining, construction or heavy industrial electrical environments
  • Strong skills in fault-finding, testing and commissioning

  • White Card
  • Driver's Licence
  • EWP & Working at Heights
  • Current First Aid & CPR/LV
  • National Police Clearance
