Dispensary Technician

About the role

Amal's Discount Chemist' is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team in West Ryde, NSW. As a full-time Dispensary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our Pharmacists in the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications to our customers. This is a crucial role that plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and the delivery of high-quality healthcare to the local community.

What you'll be doing

• Accurately dispense and label prescription medications under the supervision of our Pharmacists
• Maintain detailed records of all dispensed medications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist customers with general pharmacy-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Restock and organise the dispensary to ensure a well-functioning workflow
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy team to identify and implement process improvements
• Undertake other duties as required to support the overall operations of the pharmacy
• Webster packing

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience as a Dispensary Technician (Not necessary)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients
• Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
• Commitment to continuous learning and a passion for the pharmacy industry
• Ability to speak Korean or Chinese will be an advantage
