Position Vacant: In Home Care Educator – Banora Point

Organisation: Northern Rivers In Home Care

Start Date: Immediate

Northern Rivers In Home Care is seeking a reliable and caring Educator to provide in home care for a 5 year old child in Banora Point.

Role Details:

  • Days: Mondays and Tuesdays from November to March
  • Hours: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Location: Banora Point
  • Hourly Rate: $40.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Support afternoon/evening routines, including snack or dinner
  • Provide safe, engaging, and structured care tailored to the child's needs
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to foster development
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent)
  • First Aid and CPR: HLTAID012 and HLTAID009
  • Working With Children Check (NSW)
  • National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Medical clearance confirming fitness to work with children
  • Child Protection Training (we can enrol you if needed)
  • ABN
  • PRODA Registration
  • Completion of ACECQA In Home Care eLearning modules
  • A reliable, professional, and caring attitude
  • A genuine love for working with children and helping them thrive

  • HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Required)
