Kitchen Hand – Restaurant (Balgowlah, NSW)

About Us We are a vibrant seafood restaurant in Balgowlah, dedicated to serving high-quality, fresh seafood in a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team and support our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes and ensure proper sanitation standards
  • Perform end of day cleaning and bin disposal process
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation and plating
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Handle deliveries, unpack stock, and store ingredients appropriately
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Support the team with general kitchen duties as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment (minimum 1 year) is required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
