Inge Jabara Landscapes is an award-winning residential landscaping business operating in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs offering a range of landscaping services including design, construction and garden maintenance. We pride ourselves on the quality of our services and the quality of the landscaped gardens we provide for our clients.
The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance co-ordinator to oversee the maintenance activities for our portfolio of residential and commercial gardens, ensuring that our clients' gardens are maintained to a high standard. An office based role, you'll regularly liaise with clients to understand their requirements, deliver maintenance services via the team leaders for these gardens, and build the client relationship. As the main point of contact with clients, you'll have a professional approach in terms of your communications, presentation and interactions with others.
You'll also be responsible for the leadership and management of the maintenance teams including planning and scheduling work programs, resourcing the maintenance activities, guiding and supporting the team as well as safety. As part of a small management team, you'll also provide support to the wider team. Punctuality and following through on commitments are also very important.
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a Horticultural certificate or higher level qualification, and have considerable experience in residential garden maintenance or landscaping. You must be an organised individual with good communication skills, have strong leadership skills, as well as previous experience in leading a team. Full training for the role is provided.
Requirements for the Role:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or higher level qualification.
- Considerable experience in maintaining high-end residential gardens.
- Excellent skills in planning, organising and administration.
- Proficient in using digital systems.
- Considerable experience managing small teams, ideally in horticulture/garden maintenance.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver Licence is a must.
- Right to work in Australia. Applicants with work visas are welcome but you must be living in Australia already.
What's on offer:
- Remuneration in the range of $70k-$75 pa plus superannuation.
- Full-time role; part-time will be considered.
- A work vehicle is provided (including for personal use) for a full-time appointment.
- Laptop, mobile phone and uniforms are provided.
- Regular working hours are 6:30am - 3pm Monday-Friday (No weekends required).
- Flexible working arrangements will be considered. This could include WFH 1 day/week (following probation period).
