Senior Loss Adjuster, Liability

Use your technical expertise to manage complex liability claims, applying investigative and analytical skills to determine cause, liability, and quantum. At Sedgwick, you'll lead high-stakes assessments and deliver trusted outcomes for clients and customers across diverse industries.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Investigate and resolve complex liability claims with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and customer care.
  • Interpret insurance policy terms and negotiate claim outcomes with clients and insured parties.
  • Identify fraudulent claims, manage salvage and recovery, and ensure adherence to legislative and client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing a significant portfolio beyond core accounts.
  • Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to team capability and development.

About you

  • You're an experienced senior loss adjuster with a deep understanding of liability frameworks and insurance regulations.
  • Hold a Dip. of Loss Adjusting through ANZIIF or relevant tertiary qualification
  • You bring strong investigative skills, emotional intelligence, and a customer-first mindset.
  • You're confident in report writing, stakeholder communication, and using technology to support your work.
