Living Colour Nursery is located in Adelaide's Northern Suburbs and is South Australia's leading wholesale and bedding plant producer producing millions of quality plants a year for the home gardener. Our customer base includes all major retail garden centers in South Australia and the Northern Territory as well as the local Horticultural industry. About the role

We are looking for fit and healthy people to work in all areas of our facility during our busy period. You could be Moving Stock, Labelling and Preparing Plants, or working in Despatch to get our plants out the door.

We grow millions of plants a year, the majority of which are all grown from seed at our facility. If producing plants on a large scale in a fast-paced production environment interests you we encourage you to apply, it's a labour-intensive job that requires someone who is prepared to get stuck in and get dirty. No formal qualifications are required as all training will be provided on-site, however, a keen eye and above-average attention to detail is an important attribute for the role.

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in a nursery environment is preferred.
  • Passionate about plants.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work outside and in all weather conditions.
  • Enthusiasm and a hunger to learn quickly.
  • Have an eye for quality and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit (due to working environment).
