Unite Healthcare is excited to partner with a new and forward-thinking medical imaging provider as they launch their first clinic in Melbourne's northern suburbs, opening September 2025.

We are seeking a qualified General Sonographer (2–4 years' experience) ready to take the lead in establishing high clinical standards and growing a patient-focused, modern ultrasound service. This is a rare opportunity to be the first Sonographer on site, with clear potential to step into a leadership and mentoring role as the clinic expands.

About the Role:

You will be joining a newly built clinic equipped with:

• Three state-of-the-art ultrasound rooms
• Two on-site radiographers
• A scope covering general, obstetric/gynae, MSK, vascular, and small parts ultrasound
• An experienced management team committed to quality, innovation, and collaborative care

You will play a key role in:

• Establishing scanning workflows and protocols
• Contributing to the clinical direction of the service
• Building rapport with referring clinicians
• Mentoring future Sonographers and potentially taking on a formal tutoring or leadership role as the team grows

About You:

• ASAR accredited with at least 2 years' experience in general ultrasound
• Competent across a wide range of examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, MSK, vascular, and small parts
• Confident working autonomously in a new setting
• A team player with a patient-first approach and strong communication skills
• Motivated by the opportunity to shape a new clinic and develop professionally
