About the Role:
We are partnering with an excellent childcare centre in Padstow, NSW, seeking a passionate and experienced Room Lead Childcare Educator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified educator who is committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a dedicated room within the childcare centre, ensuring the delivery of an engaging, developmentally appropriate program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities that foster children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
  • Support and mentor room team members, promoting best practice and professional growth.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to children's development and daily routines.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential).
  • Proven experience working in a childcare setting, preferably with some leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current childcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
