Support Worker

About Us
We are a registered NDIS provider focused on delivering high-quality in-home support. Our mission is to help participants maintain safe, clean, and organised living spaces, while also supporting them to build independence and confidence in managing their own homes. We are seeking candidates across metropolitan and greater Sydney.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll see the impact of your work every day. Around 75% of your time will be spent directly supporting participants in their homes — creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments. You'll roll up your sleeves to help with essential household tasks, then guide and encourage participants as they gradually take on more themselves. It's a unique opportunity to watch confidence grow and living conditions improve as a direct result of your support.
Unlike many support worker roles, this position is intentionally in-home only — you'll focus on building independence and maintaining safe homes, without the requirement to support community activities (except in emergencies).
What You'll Do
- Help maintain safe and organised home environments.
Carry out household tasks such as:
Tidying and putting away items.
- Cleaning (dishes, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, toilets).
- Laundry and changing bed linen.
- Mentor and support participants to build independence with these tasks.
- Follow participant support plans and keep accurate notes.
- Provide respectful, consistent, and reliable support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in group homes or supported independent living environments.
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to support gradual skill-building.
- Attention to detail and pride in creating clean, safe living spaces.
- Confidence using a smartphone for web-based applications.
Why Join Us?
- See the results of your effort: Every shift has a visible outcome.
- Specialist focus: Dedicated to in-home support — no community shifts.
- Impact: Help participants take meaningful steps towards independence.
- Support: Be part of a provider that values your contribution and supports your professional growth.
- Flexibility: Shifts designed to suit your availability.
