We are looking for a Casual Physiotherapistin our Doncaster East location to provide evidence based professional and holistic therapy assessment to our participants.

As our physiotherapist

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a diverse clinical caseload, ranging from mild intellectual disability through to multiple and profound physical and intellectual disability.
  • Deliver a holistic, participant centred and flexible therapy programs, supporting our participants and their families to achieve their goals.
  • Deliver a range of individually tailored one-to-one therapy services aimed at supporting the unique therapeutic needs of people with disability.
  • Support participants with mealtime and swallowing needs and assessment.
  • Participate in research projects via the Onemda Research and Innovation Centre

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach challenging situations positively and proactively.

Eligibility:

To deliver what we need in this role, you will be:

  • Your Working with Children Check and an NDIS Workers' Screening Check and COVID 19 3RD Dose.
  • Certified with APHRA registration.
  • Knowledge and understanding: You'll be across the essential principles of the NDIS.
