Hairdresser Opportunity - Join Our Amazing Team Position with a difference

We are on the lookout for a friendly, skilled hairdresser to join us at Bodhi and Rose, our calm little salon in the heart of Loxton. This is not your run-of-the-mill, busy, noisy salon, our space is small, natural, relaxed and has a loyal client base who appreciate one-on-one time, low tox hair care and, they are genuinely the whole reason we come to work every day, we love them

We know every hairdresser is at a different stage in life, which is why we are offering two options for this role, giving you the power to take it whichever way you would like

Who would this position suit?

  • A hairdresser who is ready for more freedom and balance, whether that means working around kids, studies or lifestyle.
  • Someone who is tired of salon chaos and wants a quieter, more personal environment
  • A stylist wanting to step into a client list that already exists, so you don't have to start from scratch
  • Or perhaps you want to come into a short term role without locking into a long term contract

Option 1 - Freelance/Chair Rental

Perfect if you are looking for an opportunity to have the space, freedom and support to make it your own.

To be the perfect fit for this position you will need:

  • ABN, Insurance and your own setup for tax/super
  • Experience/Qualification in cutting, colouring and styling
  • An interest in low-tox, natural hair care (not compulsory)

Option 2 - Short-Term Employment (Maternity Leave Cover)

This option is great if you would rather have stability and read-made clientele to look after.

  • A 3-6 month contract (negotiable) covering maternity leave

You will need:

  • Hairdressing qualifications and salon experience
