About CASA House
Located in the heart of Melbourne, the Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA House) is a department of the Royal Women's Hospital. CASA House works with people of all genders (including trans and gender diverse people) and provides 24-hour services to victim survivors of sexual assault, including immediate crisis care, counselling, support and advocacy, after hours crisis response, support groups, and support for family members and friends. CASA House provides secondary consultation, education and training and public policy advocacy.
About The Role
The Program Leader – Training, Education & Quality Improvement position is responsible for the leadership and management of the CASA House training program and for supervision of the Education and Training Worker. The role also leads accreditation and quality improvement with the support of the CASA leadership team and CASA House Manager.
The CASA House training program delivers a range of professional development, capacity building and community education services to a diverse range of health and community sector professionals to support the professional development of individuals and services in responding to sexual assault. The role is required to lead the design, review and development of new training packages all of which are delivered within a clearly articulated intersectional feminist, rights advocacy, violence and trauma informed practice framework.
A Regular Day Will See You
- Working with your team to manage and implement change or quality improvements, monitoring and evaluating activity and develop strategies to improve team outcomes.
- Designing and delivering training and professional development to a diverse range of health and community sector professionals
- Demonstrating and modelling expertise and knowledge in trauma informed care, intersectional feminism and the determinants, dynamics and impacts of sexual assault.

- Capacity to lead and support supervisees in training delivery, Quality Improvement and project work
