La Lah in Dunsborough is looking for an experienced and capable hospitality professional to head up our exceptional front of house team as our new Restaurant Manager.

We are the leading brunch venue in the area with a great menu, excellent coffee, cool decor, and an amazing, friendly and dedicated front of house team.

The Restaurant Manager role offers plenty of opportunity to develop your skills with the help of very supportive owners.

We are looking for that special someone who has prior experience in managing a very busy venue and a large team. You'll be the face of our venue so you'll thrive on engaging with customers, motivating our team and ensuring the smooth running of operations.

What you will be managing:

  • The customer experience

  • Recruitment and development of current and emerging team members

  • Financial management including key cost factors and budgeting

  • Supply and ordering logistics

  • The interface with the kitchen team

  • Safety and liquor licensing requirements and compliance

What you will need to have:

  • Friendly, engaging personality

  • Calm demeanour in high pressure situations

  • Proven organisational and problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage and develop current and emerging team members

  • Understanding of relevant safety and liquor licensing regulations

  • Bar and barista experience

  • Available to work 5 days per week, including week-ends and public hols

  • RSA and Approved Manager card or willing to obtain it

  • Detailed knowledge of rostering, budgeting and analytic apps

  • Hospitality management qualification desirable
