About the Role

As Revenue Officer you'll play a key part in maintaining accurate and up-to-date property data and valuations for Council.
Your keen eye for detail and analytical mindset will help with assessing property changes, outside of the usual revaluation cycles, such as alterations, demolitions, subdivisions, new constructions, and consolidations, to ensure fair and equitable rates for all.

You'll be responsible for processing Supplementary Valuations, Objections, Farm Rate Applications and Single Farm Enterprise Exemptions. You'll work alongside your revenue colleagues and collaborate with internal teams, property owners, Government Agencies and Council's Contract Valuers.

About the Successful Candidate

To excel in this role, you will have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, financial systems and other related software. You will be proactive in problem-solving and able to work effectively within a team. Experience in local government, particularly in a rating or property-focused environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
