As a part of the Ground and Zone Assets Delivery section, within Network Delivery Group, you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy's Electrical Network.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of leading a future focused electricity network for the ACT. 

Key responsibilities  

  • Program and Project Delivery: Oversee the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of the Program of Works for Protection and control assets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with proper planning, auditing, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder and Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams, external contractors, and commercial customers; collaborate across functions to coordinate resources, manage outages, and optimize work delivery.
  • Leadership and Performance Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate Site Leads and field teams; manage performance, succession planning, training, and compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in work systems and delivery strategies, address job cancellations and rework, ensure compliance with tools and processes, and contribute to meetings and decision-making forums
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate  

  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology, Craft Certificate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in zone and distribution substations construction and maintenance, and electricity distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead individuals and teams in technical areas
