Sales Engineer

to join our team.

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical expert for our products and services while building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers. You'll collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction from initial consultation through to project delivery.

This role includes
national and occasional international travel

for client meetings, installations, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and training to clients.
  • Assist with installations and oversee project implementations.
  • Meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, products, and competitor activities.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven 2-4 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales role.
  • Strong technical understanding of automation, packaging, and warehouse solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Business.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required.
