Storeperson – Electrical Wholesaling

Are you organised, reliable, and looking to be part of a fast-paced team in the electrical industry? We are seeking a motivated Warehouse/Storeperson to join our growing electrical wholesaling business.

About the Role:

As a Storeperson, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and trade counter. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
• Assisting trade counter staff and customers when required
• Maintaining inventory correctly and accurately
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised warehouse
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
• Answering phones
• Oversee daily inventory management and stock control processes.
• Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and audits.
• Analyse inventory data to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Develop and implement inventory policies, procedures, and systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in warehousing, stores, or logistics (electrical wholesaling experience highly regarded but not essential)
• A team player with strong attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Computer literacy is a must
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems/ERP software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
