About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hydro Innovations Pty Ltd as an Apprentice Mechanical - Fitter & Turner. As an Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop the necessary skills and qualifications to become a qualified Fitter and Turner. This full-time role is based in Rydalmere, NSW.

What you'll be doing

1. Undertake mechanical fitter and turner apprenticeship training
2. Develop proficiency in a range of mechanical workshop skills, including maintenance, repair and installation of machinery and equipment
3. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Maintain a safe and organised work environment
5. Participate in continuous learning and training to further your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Strong interest and aptitude in mechanical engineering and hands-on work
2. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and attention to detail skills
3. Good communication and teamwork skills
4. Motivation to learn and develop your technical expertise
5. Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship and complete the required training
