About us:

Maritime Constructions is a marine contractor, uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised engineering disciplines to deliver complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning.  Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, underwater pipelines.

About the Role

  • Loading and unloading of pickups and deliveries
  • Yard and workshop housekeeping and organisation
  • Maintain site security
  • Operate yard equipment including forklifts and HR trucks
  • Ensure clear designated site access and safety of all people entering the yard
  • Assist Supervisors/Project Engineers in project mobilisation and demobilisation activities
  • Work closely with workshop team and assist in maintenance activities
  • Ensure all allocated yard activities meet with the requirements of the IMS and legislative requirements

About you

We're looking for a reliable, team player who works well in a small team and is committed to making safety the first priority.

Mandatory:

  • White Card & Forklift Ticket (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing)
  • Current driver's licence

Desirable:

  • High Risk Work Licence: Rigging & CN Crane Ticket,
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space
  • HR Truck Licence
  • Civil plant tickets (excavator, ITC)

What we are Offering

  • $28 - $38 per hour (experience) + overtime penalties
  • Permanent role based in Port Adelaide, SA
  • Monday to Friday - 38-hours per week
