To be considered for the Storeperson /Forklift Driver Positions, you would ideally have the following:
- Hold a current High Risk License and current Drivers Licence
- Experience operating Reach forklifts in a warehousing environment
- Accurately complete and dispatch customer orders promptly
- Ability to use FIFO and a WMS System
- Receipt and transfer stock to appropriate location within the Warehouse
- Previous truck loading/unloading experience
- Able to work at short notice for casual on-call rosters
To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and capabilities
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Previous glass handling experience including slip sheeting, highly desirable
- Previous experience in RF scanning
- Understanding of customer ordering and warehouse processes
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively and coordinate all activities with supervisor
- Ability to work in a team, but also own your own
- Adherence to occupational health and safety requirements
- Be motivated with a good work ethic and a keen interest to learn
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
This position involves some manual work and would best suit applicants who are physically fit and in good health.
